Hello everybody.My machine, an iMac (27-inch, Mid 2011) gave me a black screen yesterday, out of the blue, and after I rebooted it it starts the boot process with the Apple horizontal bar but at the mid point it goes blank as in the two pictures below.Anybody has any ideas before I bring to service next week, please?
Your system is getting stuck within POST. Let’s see if we can get past it, with a USB keyboard, restart and press the T key to enter into Target Disk Mode. You should see the FireWire and Thunderbolt icons on the screen are you able to get to that?
