Ok ive been tinkering with the samsungs s series for quite awhile and finally have no idea what i may need to replace to get the amoled lcd up n running, so with that being said does anyone know which chips power the lcd assembly and are they attatched to motherboard or on the lcd ribbon cable. The device is a samsung s6 edge plus by verizon.
The easiest would be to try the original ( presumedly faulty) screen. If it was cracked, etc, but still lit up, prior to replacement, unlike the new one, and you put it back in, and it lights up, then I’d guess the new screen is either faulty, incompatible or incorrectly installed.
