After replacing the display on my iPhone 7 Plus my phone is detecting touch input when nothing is happening. The display I replaced seems to be an original Apple part, and I have tried reseating the cables but I am still getting the phantom touches. Has anyone ran into this issue before?
This happens a lot when the cable is damaged during the repair, check to see if your cable has been pinched or damaged. If you don’t see anything you might have a defective display. I’d suggest getting a replacement display assembly from the place you bought yours.
