Chosen Solution
Several answers for black display following HD replacement suggest the fuse may be defective. I know the cable was damaged while removing the display due to lack of supporting it, the cable pulled from the connector and damaged the cable end pins. I have a new cable on order but desire to confirm the fuse while waiting for the cable. Any other ank you.
rwcarey just for completion sake, since I am sure you got this fixed after 6 years. Anyhow the fuse is on the back of the LED driver board.
