I have a samsung galaxy s3 i9300. Its screen got cracked so gave it to a local repairer.he replaced the whole display and touch.the touch is working fine but now the display brightness is neither increasing nor decreasing. So my question is.is there any problem in display?
The replacement screen u got is an lcd whereas the original one is an led.thats why the brightness cannot be controlled
Hi Nitish, Are you sure auto-brightness is not activated? Perhaps energy saving is enabled? To test everything with your screen i suggest you launch the test menu and see if everything works there, there is a special button called “dimming” there to test as such; -> go to your “keypad” (as if you want to call somebody) -> Type in: #0# It should start the test menu instantly. Let us know what the tests do :)

If you have replaced your display folder then sometimes you face this problem , because of cheap quality display folder . For this you have to download night mode application from play store .It will work for you.
Reset your device and off the auto power saving and try again I think its work unless there is a hardware problem
If you have changed your phone display then it might create problem because some china display doesn’t have the hardware that support display brightness. If not so then try factory data reset this might work.
Yes bro u are right? This happens to me also,it is only because shop owner replace not the original folder infact any third class , cheaper folder?

First check the auto brightness option,This is the symbol of copy Lcd only to display the graphic not controlled light system and phone also goes to heating up problem better to change original OLED LCD.
