Chosen Solution
I have a Kenmore Elite Fridge,l. The ice and water maker stopped working, when I removed the cover on the hinge of the door and wiggle the wires it works. I have to pull/wiggle a set of wires for the dispenser to work. Any ideas?
Joe Stafford, PA sounds like loose connections. I would use a sharp knife and cut away the black insulation (or heat shrink not sure since my eyes are old eyes) and see what you find. I would not be surprised if it is either loose, disconnected or even corroded. Lets see what you find out once you get a better view.
