when i try to load in a disk it doesn’t pull the disk in. i have taken it apart and everything looks right and if i turn the gears and put a disk in and turn the loading gears till they stop turning with the disk fully engaged and then reinstall the cd drive in the ps4 and turn it on it see the game and will play but when you hit eject nothing happens other then the screen saying ejecting. so i am thinking the loading motor is bad. is that the likely problem or is there a known problem with the cd drive board? also it is a BDP-025 drive
So can you play the games or not? And if it is not loading the games or ejecting it, replace the drive. https://www.ebay.com/i/163147408000?chn=… Not sure what model yours is, make sure you try match models. It is not expensive or completely cheap. Replacing this should be an easy fix.
