I’m at my wits end. I have a whrilpool gold series dishwasher. Sometimes my dishwasher works, other times seems to fill with water, then never sprays. Recently, I ran heavy cycle, hi temp wash, heat dry, and sani wash and the dishes came out cleaner then they have been in a long time. I heard water spraying more than I heard before. Now, I’m running the same cycle, and it does not seem to be doing anything. It does fill with water and it is hot. I have run the diagnotics on this and nothing shows. Months ago, the heating element did not seem to be working. After running the diagnostics, it worked. I am ready to chuck this thing. Can anybody help? I’ve been reading solutions and googling, but nothing seems to work. Thanks!
I have had similar problem with my dishwasher and it turned out to be silverware or long spatula that would prevent the spray blade from turning. If it doesn’t move it doesn’t spray correctly. Don’t know if this applies to your dishwasher but try running it empty or place tall or skinny utensils that might get in the way flat on top rack.
