Our Whirlpool dishwasher is not getting anything clean. It appears that this is because it is not getting enough water. I don’t hear much water going in at the start of the cycle or much water draining, and most of the soap remains on the bottom when the full cycle is complete. What can I look at?
Hi, What is the model number of the dishwasher? Check that the holes in the spray arms, both upper and lower aren’t clogged. Dishwashers usually have a water level sensor or float that lets the control board know to turn off the water. This may be stuck or faulty. Search online for (insert the model number) parts and hopefully you’ll find results for suppliers of the parts for the dishwasher. They also usually have parts diagrams showing the location of the part. Hopefully this is of some help
