Hi Everyone ! My macbook pro have a discfuncion on the second graphic card. I’m looking for a solution to disconnect that card manually. Stop the power entry / or brake the chip ?? Thanks you gays to help my macbook to restart again
Sorry you can’t take it out and breaking it would make things worse! I think you’ll need to talk to Apple to get it fixed yet again hopefully you can get it covered under the repair warranty. I suspect you are running some heavy programs on your system. I would recommend you review what you are running to see how you can lower the process load as I’m thinking you are cooking your system a bit here! The MacBook Pro’s are not serious gaming boxes. Yes, Apple did a crappy job with the caps which is likely the cause here. If you can’t get the logic board replaced you’ll need to find someone who has the micro-soldering skills and access to the SMT capacitors to replace them (swapping out the tantalum for mica which handles heat better).
