Chosen Solution

Hi everybody! I’m writing to ask for some help and clarifications about this problem I’ve been having with my old TV. Years ago these lines appeared on my TV. In the beginning, they were few and not so visible, but with time and TV utilisation, they became more and more, covering almost all the panel. I know a lot of people having the very same problem on the same TV model, but nobody understood what exactly the problem is. With time I noticed that leaving the TV off for days, these lines decrease in intensity and number. They also disappear if I don’t turn on the TV for weeks. Turning it on is great at the beginning, but after a while, they reappear as before. Now… I saw many discussions on the web about this problem and many people think that this is not due to a bad panel (because it “fixes after days), but maybe in some other parts (motherboard especially) I also replaced the T-con board, but as I expected, the problem didn’t solve. Do you have any ideas of what the problem could be?

Update (05/18/2020) I think you are talking about this, close to the frame, below the t-con board. It’s not visible, because I’m having serious difficulties unscrewing the metal plate covering it. Am I right? It is extremely small. I didn’t expect it.

By the way, the mainboard looks perfect to the naked eye. Aggiorna (19/05/2020) Yeah, I was talking about those below the metal plate. I exposed them, but they look totally fine Unfortunately, the image quality is not the best…

@zipporaffy there is a possibility that this is caused by a bad component on the main board but I am more convinced that this is an issue with the LCD driver board. That is the board that connects the T-con board to the LCD panel via some very thin ribbon cables. Follow the cables that exit the T-con board and you will find that board. Check that for missing or charred components. You can always post images of that on here.
