Chosen Solution
I have a cuh 1215a ps4. The disc drive stopped working so i bought one here and installed it. I get an unrecognized disc error after quite a while with the disc spinning constantly and the busy symbol in the upper right corner of the screen. From what i have read this drive is plug and play. Is there anything else that could cause this error? Console cannot connect online since i keep getting a hardware error and cannot system update.
did you change the pcb from the old drive to the new drive as the drive pcb is programmed to work with the motherboard
