Recently did an update to the phone. Apple pay continued to pop up on the phone so I discounted Apple Pay. Afterwards, the phone immediately said Disable connect to Itunes. How did i restore the phone without loosing everything on the phone?
Download Re-iboot and see if that helps kick it out without restoring, report back here and let me know if it works.
I’d use 3u Tools as in my experience (messing around with it) works pretty well. except for older firmware flashing. that usually fails. but I have tested removal of recovery mode on my iPhone after backing it up and putting it in recovery. to my surprise it actually worked! it even kept my data somehow. if you want a video tutorial, I’m working on it. it will probably be done in half an hour. Update (02/23/2018) Got the video. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1GcKucfX… although it does bug out at the end with not reconnecting to the device, my iphone still returns to normal with all my stuff on it. (why am I using a link to share the video? iFixit has a 30 second limit to videos in answers to reduce spam.)
