Macbook pro a1425 2 days on charge now the machine dead no fan spin just got green light dimming. Pp3v42_g3h is stable at 3,38v But Ppbus_g3h pumping up and down from 3,9 to 14,65v Check capacitor and resistor around u7000 No short but found R7016 pin 2 value 1625 on resistance mode R7001 got 5.4v stable R7025 pumping from 5 to 19v up and down R70110 & R7011 pumping from 2,6 to 3,2 v Is my U7000 need to replace?
A dim MagSafe charger LED implies the one or more of the MOSFET’s are shorted out. We tend to stick with the simpler repairs here. How about jumping over to Louis Rossmann’s Youtube channel review this vid: Macbook Pro Retina works off battery but doesn’t charge 820-3462
