I’m trying to fix something that isn’t an iPod; a motorcycle headset whose battery won’t hold a charge any more. I’m told that the battery is the same size as the battery for an iPod 5th Gen Video 30 GB. But I want to be sure the dimensions are correct. So what are the dimensions of this battery? I need a battery that’s 3.7V, and 1.9" x 0.75" x 0.16" or 49mm x 19mm x 4.5mm. Thank you!

Hi @robertyknwt , Would a 4.0mm x 20mm x 50mm suffice or is it just a fraction too big to fit in? If you think that it would fit then here is a link to suppliers The batteries are nearly all the same capacity of 400mAH. If the size is OK there may be other suppliers that suit you better. Just search for 402050 3.7V LiPo battery for results. The convention regarding dimensions of a battery are depth (height) x width x length all in mm with the first two digits in the number being separated by a decimal point, which is not shown in the number. So 402050 = 4.0mm x 20mm x 50mm I tried searching for a 451949 3.7V LiPo battery (as per your sizing of 4.5mm x 19mm x 49mm) and the above are the closest available. Hopefully this is of some help.
