I have 2 iPhones 5C. One is locked to a network and the other is unlocked. The unlocked one doesn’t have any cracks on the screen and the display properly shows everything, but it doesn’t recognise touch. So I’ve swaped the entire screens, from the fully working phone I took off the screen and the digitizer and places it on the faulty one. ( I assumed it probably was a cable problem or a faulty screen with digitizer) but even after the swap, the faulty phone doesn’t recognise touch…… Could this be a motherboard error? if so, is there anything that can be done to remove the problem? i would appreciate some advice if anyone had a similar problem b4. Thank you. Update (05/13/2016)
there doesn’t seem t be any damage on the connector docs
Try Ben’s power recommendation first. It’s also possible you have a faulty screen but the digitizer connector on the logic board is very delicate, can you see if there is any damage on the connector? If there, you may need to have it microsoldered :(
