Cracked screen, but Good LCD. However the digitizer won’t work. Tried a new screen, same thing, won’t swipe. Is this an defective phone or is there an easy fix?
It could be that the cable for the digitizer isn’t connected properly or the cable detached. Hope this helps!

Check- by using another LCD. if that one still dosent work then there could be something wrong with the FPC connector on the logic board. You probably damaged the connector when you dropped it. If the connector looks fine ( which you would look under magnification glass or scope ) and non of the pin seems to be damaged. Then something might have happened to the board.
