I have an iphone 6 having difficulty charging, i took the charging port out and placed it back in its slot as i was screwing the charging port in i placed the charger in and the phone was charging ok, i thought i solved the issue and carried on with the other screws and closed the phone, i then took the charger out and placed it back in and it would not charge, i have tried putting another in and the same issue happens.
Have you inspected the pins to see if it is in there? There should be 8 pins. Also check for anything stuck inside the charging port if it doesn’t go in fully. Need to clean with fine tweezers carefully and making sure that you don’t touch the charging pins.
