Is there any difference in the battery adhesive when it come to different iPhone models?
different sizes for plus models, iPhone 8 has stronger type and in 4 smaller strips
If you are doing more than one battery replacement get a roll of red double sided tape you can get this from eBay, same price as one battery adhesive strjp for an iPhone 6 battery for example.
I would highly recommend buying the correct battery adhesive strips. If you just purchase any old double sided tape it will make it extremely difficult if you needed to replace the battery in the future.
