Chosen Solution
I went to get my phone fixed in a random place in Manhattan; a couple of days later I just keep getting the service bar searching for service never working; I called my provider last night (straight talk) and it appears that I have a different imei than they have on file for me. Wtf?! Could they have change the motherboard? Why would they do that? And more importantly what do I do now? I don’t even remember the name of the place… Please someone help!
You are going to have to remember who you took it to. Sounds like the board was changed.
