Iphone 6 with vertical lines; need a new screen? I tried to use Recovery Mode to see if restoring the phone would help. I can’t restore. I get errors. Do the two things (vertical lines on screen & the error in recovery mode) have anything to do with each other, or should I just proceed to fix the screen?/
You can try checking the connections for damage, get a magnifying glass and check for bent or missing pins. If they are fine clean the connectors with a qtip and alcohol and a soft brush. If that doesn’t fix your problem replace the screen. You can get a good aftermarket screen for 15 dollars.
