Chosen Solution
Labtop (Win7/64) with Garmin Express works fine with other Garmin devices. I’m looking for a solution without loosing all my Favorites, POIs, routes etc. as it might happen if I do a hard reset.
I had the same issue …. very difficult to see due to very tight space … but the mini USB female plug was bent (down)ie towards the rear of the Garmin 760 about 1 mm. I fixed it by (carefully) bending back with the sharp end/tip of a narrow knife. WORKS
