Chosen Solution
A little while back my A1534 decided not to boot anymore and I’m no longer getting any ding when I plug the device in. There had been no liquid spill nor a fall or drop. No LCI trip and the little led next to the battery connector is on. The power button is unresponsive and I’m unable to preform a SMC reset.
If the computer is not booting and is unresponsive when you plug it in, the battery may be too old to effectively hold a charge anymore may need to be replaced.
