Chosen Solution
I have a MacBookPro 16 inch 2019 model and after recent update the device never booted and goes into loop where Apple logo is displayed, waits few seconds and then reboots with chime sound. Any pointers why this is happening and how this problem can be resolved?
Not good ;-{ If your system was working just fine before you ran the macOS update then its safe to assume the OS updater is stuck! What you are seeing it the updater is trying to apply one of the update elements and not able to get through the process. The best thing here is to get your system to an Apple Store or authorized Apple dealer who has people repairing gear. They have the needed tools to over come this.
