Hi, My device is a Lenovo Yoga 720 15-IKB (it doesn’t appear in the device list.) The other day I simply returned to it after the night and it didn’t turn on. This is what I know: The power supply is fine, it gives the normal 20v and I also tried another one to be sure. The problem is not there. The led indicator that indicates charging does not light up when the device is plugged in. Removing and reconnecting the battery does not solve the issue. Removing the battery and powering up while plugged in and without battery does not work. The battery seems to give off the indicated voltage, so it’s probably not completely spent. From somewhere in the middle of the motherboard comes a sound that reminds me of a relay switching on and off. This noise comes after varying intervals. This is the only noise the device makes after repeated attempts to turn it on. Given the state of the device I can’t confirm 100% that the device doesn’t turn on, but if it does it’s awfully quiet about it. The power button is still clicky. The device normally stays on a desk, plugged in. That’s all I know that comes to mind. Any help sorting this out would be super appreciated, as I’m very confused by what could have happened. Thank you! Edit: The board around the power plug:

The board around the battery connector:

I think the problem is located in the power circuit on the motherboard, which prevents the battery from charging and the computer from starting, the clicking noise might be a security measurement to switch off the main current path because something shorting probably, so clean the motherboard especially the area around the power plug.
