My fonepad 8 keep acting up, the screen shaking when i didn’t touch it. Opening things i didn’t open, keyboard keeps popping up and type thing. Home button, task and button doesn’t work. It’s okay several day ago but now it keep doing it. I did factory reset 3 times but the problem hasn’t been resolved. I can’t even use it right now because of it

This is what my shop calls “Ghosting” And it is a pretty common failure of the screens “Digitizer” Also known as a touch panel. most commonly, replacing the screen fixes this issue, however there are other potential issues

  1. disconnect the touch panel, and clean both connector parts with 99% isopropyl (Liklyhood ~10%
  2. try replacing the screen (Likelyhood ~75%)
  3. the motherboards Touch controller may be failing, in which case you would have to replace the motherboard. (Likelyhood ~15%)
