I have a Dell Latitude E7470. My battery is dead and it needs to be replaced. Is it possible? (Some said the the motherboard needs to be replaced as well which sounds strange to me)
If battery is dead first check for a new battery, or you can use your charger first to verify if there is any issue with motherboard if laptop switches on without any issue that means you battery need replacement not your motherboard.
