My display does not work anymore. I had the display replaced, but it still does not work. The guy said the phone can not be fixed anymore. I hope he knew what he was doing. When I connect it to iTunes I can not reset (delete all data) because I have to commit this action on the phone. How can I delete all data on the phone without a working display Thank you very much KV P.S. I think the phone is stil working somehow…..for example: Every morning the alarm still rings !!
hello brother,first put your phone on dfu mode and connect to itune then restore and update option appear then click you hopefully reset your phone .
Jaswinder, thank you !! I was able to use teh restore/recovey option in iTunes. When I connect it to iTunes now, I get a message that it has no sim card and I shall install one. I will do this later. Do you think my data is deleted now ? (Thats what I want). The display still stays black, it also does not show the apple in the beginning, but it looks like that it still can communicate with iTunes. Do you have an idea what could be wrong ? The repair shop said it is not the display (not sure if they know really)
Hello, So have you already solved this problem? Can you boot your phone? Is it normal? If you want to delete all data or some junk files on your iPhone, maybe you can use a software to help you.
