Ok so I replaced my iPad mini’s screen for the first time because I cracked it! When i First turned it on after the replacement it worked fine except for a small “dead spot” on the diginalizer. It was a line from left to right on the bottom of the device(Not Visible, will not recognize touch) It was so small so I didn’t bother with it. A few weeks later it is about a half inch think and it is at the top of my screen now. I can’t do anything without twisitng the iPad billions of time. I re-seated the diginalizer and got no results! Is there any way I can fix this because I really would like to use my screen again!
i had something similar happen to me with an ipad 4 but in my case the cable was just loose, if you have already checked that, i would look closely for damaged pins, the digi connector on the iPad mini board is VERY fragile , after that i would try a new digi and try to send that one back as defective
The screen you installed is most likely defective and will need another
