Chosen Solution

Hello, My iPhone 11 randomly stopped turning on one day with no previous problems. I took it to the Apple Store and they told me the logic board is not responding and it cannot be fixed. The kicker is - I guess I never backed up my phone and lost over 2 years of photos that I would like to get back. Is it even a possibility to get the photos back? Nothing I try seems to work and I am not skilled enough nor do I have the tools to open the phone up myself. I would prefer to send it somewhere / to someone to retrieve the photos but am open to any suggestions. Thanks!

Have you tried connecting the phone to iTunes in recovery mode? I’ve had a few ‘dead’ iPhone 11’s that just needed updated.

It all depends on how “dead” it is. iPhone data recovery depends on minimum a few things which MUST work together: Flash storage chips, for obvious reasons.CPU, which holds part of the flash storage decryption keys.Working screen input, so you can enter the passcode, which is the other part of the decryption keys. With those salvageable, you figure out how to make it power on and have a way to export the data, wifi or USB.

Hello Alix, something similar was her, but few steps later :( check it out carefully.
