So I did the worst-case scenario of pouring an entire glass of red wine on my macbook keyboard. The machine is totally friend, but I was able to remove the SSD drive from the case. After a lot of research, it seems like people are having a lot of trouble finding adapters or external enclosures to access to file system on the storage drive. Has anyone had any success in removing files from ~2017 era Macbook Pro SSDs? Wanted to ask before I go to the apple store or use a third-party recovery service. Attached is a photo of the removed drive with model number:

Sadly, Apple’s SSD’s use a custom connector setup, which OWC did offer external cases for the older MacBook Pro blade SSD’s, I haven’t seen any of the 16/17 Fn key systems. The best you can do is find someone who is willing to allow you to swap-out their SSD with yours so you can then access the data making a backup onto an external drive. You might find a used system to achieve the same thing.
