My late 2013 model MacBook Pro Retina 15” got wet when we had a pipe burst and won’t power on at all. I’ve purchased a 2015 model to replace it. I’ve removed the SSD from the 2013 laptop, have an mSATA to SATA adapter (with 2 USB plugs), and have been trying to get the new laptop to read the old drive. I keep getting a message saying the the USB device is drawing too much power. Your thoughts are appreciated. Sure thing. Here’s a link to the item:
