I have a new Kenwood DMX7705s multimedia head unit. I need a supercapacitor dash cam which Kenwood does not have. Will the Transcend Drive Pro 200 or 220 dash cam connect directly the video dash cam input on the back of my head unit? The Transcend does have a RCA video out jack, however it is said to be used for connecting to a TV. I would like to find all alternative dash cameras that are great for hot climates that are available for my Kenwood head. Update (08/03/2018) The Kenwood DMX7705s is installed as a factory replacement. This head unit has RCA inputs for front and rear cameras.
OK so you just need a camera which connects via RCA connectors. The only issue will be getting power to the camera and route the cables (signal & power) back to the head unit and the fuse panel to gain access to power.
