I added some embellishments to the Elvis suit… I may have somehow “unhinged’ the legs as he no longer sways his hips or moves his legs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So since you added some embellishments to the suit, it is preventing his legs from swaying. I would suggest to remove the embellishments and hook them on only to the overlay fabric of the suit to see if that makes a difference. If it doesn’t then something is wrong with the bear internally. Then the legs have unhinged themselves from the main gear system track. I would recommend to try to move the legs back and forth to see if that could start up the toy, if not you might have to take it apart and repair the movement.
