Hello, One of the screws got loose and got stuck in the sim card reader slot. I was able to move it out with a tweezer but in the process it moved around in there too much and must’ve done some damage because now the phone won’t read the sim card at all. Do you think the sim card reader needs to be replaced or are the pins bent? Is it fixable? Thanks.
If you can see the pins, maybe you can bend them back into place. It’s hard to know without seeing a picture. If all else fails, I’d replace the sim card reader. Unless you have microsoldering experience, I wouldnt try it. There are a lot of great companies that offer these services.
