I have a 2006 maxima and it’s cutting out and has no power when I give it gas it like wants to die ???? Why I’m so frustrated with it
I had this issue also and every time the accelerator stopped responding, I had to cut the car off and cut it back on to get it to work again. The accelerator on this car is electronic and so it is not mechanically linked to the engine. It is connected by an electronic signal. The wiring for this setup can wear out over time and when the engines computer does not get the right input, it will cut out. I had the wiring corrected and never had the problem again.
