Chosen Solution
The combination of Ctrl+Shift+arrow keys to highlight text will not work on the keyboard. I’ve tried to reset the keyboard, reinstall the keyboard drivers, and disabled the mouse when typing. Nothing seems to solve the problem. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Ah. Just tried it it seems you hold down control and shift but not an arrow key. then you click the beginning of the text you want to highlight and while still holding the control and shift click the end of the text you wish to highlight.
