I have maybe 10 (bad) Yoga X1 g3 LCDs Mostly available to rework. They have broken digitizer causing a replacement in the field. I attempted to remove an LCD today (from a known bad LCD) and found it is quite difficult to remove without cracking the LCD. I am willing to put in time and effort to get this working, as I have a HP laptop which I confirmed physically connected worked perfectly, and providing much better resolution and colors. I feel with the right guidance, I can remove these and create a detailed document that will certainty benefit your repair guides as well as many others in a similar situation.
