Hello, The lower case is connected to the upper case with two plastic clips near its center. In my case this caused the mac to make creaking sounds when putting pressure on mac near the track pad. After removing the two clips the mac is fine and silent. But what is the use of the clips and is it save to remove them. Gr Remco
