My friend gave me his Ipad 3 after he said it crashed and then while he was trying to restore the ipad it threw the error code -22. I took the ipad home and was able to connect it to itunes and try a restore, it said unable to restore and it gave me the option to restore again, which I did. Now the ipad is not holding a charge and can’t charge or even be “seen” by my cpu. What does error -22 mean, and how can I fix it? I know how to tear apart an Ipad and put back together correctly. Hey there, Error code 22 is a Device Manager error that occurs when a device is causing a problem. This error code indicates that the device is disabled in Device Manager. Error code 22 can be fixed by enabling the device in decvice manager.
