Hi, I have an Asus laptop with a cracked screen, I can’t see anything on the screen and I would like to use an external Monitor, but I have a hard drive with no OS and I can’t do the windows 8.1 Install.
Look at the ASUS keyboard, at the top there are (blue?) symbols on F1, F2, F3…. There is one that looks like a monitor. Press the FN key+that key (i.e. F2), and it will force a switch to the external monitor.
