Chosen Solution
I got a tiny piece of gravel caught in two places in my hinge and have two tiny cracks in the screen of my MacBook Pro. It looks as though this bit of the screen however, is not part of the main display screen - I’m just looking to find out if they will they spread to the main screen or am I alright to leave it Thank you!
While the chin plate damage won’t damage the display currently, the shards could loosen up and cut into the ribbon cables just under the plate. So I would make the effort to replace it ASAP as its a lot cheaper to replace than the full display assembly.
