I have a cracked screen on my lenovo yoga 10 b6000 tablet only screen damage lcd is working fine. how can I repair this and would I need the digitizer touch screen or will I need a whole new lcd and digitizer touch screen. I have searched all over the web and no one has any tutorials regarding replacing the screen or screen with lcd unit. please can some help I will need to know how to disassemble and replace cracked screen with and without lcd unit.
This is usually a concern with tablets that are not as popular, not as much developer/repair support. Separating the glass is possible but it’s knowing where is safe to pry and where the cables are connected. Replacing the LCD is usually always easier, if you know what you are doing you can pry the screen up and see what’s what from there but I wouldn’t recommend doing it if you have never done it before.

Had the same problem, I ordered a digitizer screen at Ali Express. Got it in a week. When disassembling the unit, I found, that the LCD, 2 foils and the digitizer panel are all glued together, so disassembly is not possible. You need to order the display assembly complete. (Also at Ali Express by the way) Pricing for the complete unit is about 78 Euro. Henny van Hassel
the tablet screen is shattered in one corner with radials going in 2 directions, I have already purchase the Lcd screen and I am going to use the shattered part as a reference or entry point since the damage is already there. If I fail I will purchase a new Lenovo tablet.
