Hello, The front cover glass of the iMac 27” (Late 2013) has a crack. The LCD Screen is completely OK (no pixel-errors or lines) I suppose the cover glass is complete glued to the LCD Frame. Is there a way to separate the cover glass from the LCD Frame? If possible, I would like to replace this glossy glass with a Matte. I really hate all this glossy glass (iMac, MacBook)
The cover glass is not available as a part and taking the assembly apart is not easy! Trust me I tried! Best to just get a new screen or live with the crack if it’s not across the center third of the screen.
