Cracked Case That Holds The Screen Macbook Unibody Model A1342

Hi all: I have a mid 2009 MacBook A1342. The case that holds the screen is starting to crack at the hinge point. Has anybody seen this problem and is there a repair solution? If possible, I’d like to replace the part (I don’t even know what’s it called) vs. slapping some glue on it. Thanks in advance, Glenn
