i want to upgrade my slow cpu on my acer aspire 5349 . because i havent done this yet i want to know if this is possible and which cpus and what to be careful(bios and stuff). thanks for the answer
Hi, You cannot upgrade the CPU in the laptop as it is hard mounted onto the motherboard. Here’s a video that shows how to disassemble the laptop which is useful because you can see at the 7.29 minute mark into the video (also from 9.29 onwards) that the CPU is not removable. If you wish to improve the laptop’s performance you can upgrade the RAM to 8GB and replace the HDD with a SSD Here’s a couple of links that may help with that.
