I have a replacement fan but the old one has little feet to keep it raised off the heatsink. The new one doesn’t have the feet. Can I still use the new one or should I send it back and get one with the feet? I have a cyber power PC viper fx-6300
if its raised it would lower the heat transfer ability which would raise temperatures if its touching the CPU it would decrease temperature but each system is different experiment but keep in mind to use thermal paste
