Well good news I have one of my macs up and running with the new ssd drive in it. It took a new graphics card, and new backlight card, and I had to switch out the motherboard, butt it think the original board was fine. My temp cables set up. I used a lcd temp sensor wire and taped it on my ssd drive. On start up. My system is using mavericks and starts up normally but the CPU and optical drive fans are very noisy from the get go. I checked my speeds and temp and all seam way low enough. Funny thing is it says my cpu fan is 0 rmp and I know it is not it is the one making the. Most noise. I know I can enter a command in the terminal to reset these fans to a lower rpm, butt I want a more permanent fix. Can some one help?
If you used the optional SATA port sensor connection on the logic bd you’ll need to short out the unused HD sensor connection if you are not using the HD SATA connector set. Sorry thats for the newer model. No this one
