Is it possible iOS 14 update switched off Dot Projector as it is not working in Protrait / Selfie and Natural Light. Glass around it was cracked - but it looks ok - but HUNDREDS people on Apple Community complain iOS 14 killed their FaceID Here is how my Dot Projector looks like
When something breaks, it is because it broke, not some software update excuse. People look for excuses all the time.
I wouldn’t put it past apple to “disable” the dot projector to sell more devices like they tried to do with error 53, bricking iPhone X and 8 series when their screens were replaced, and slowing down older phones to sell new ones.
