Hello: my son and I have literally tried everything to fix COD Black Ops corrupted data. He thinks the disk we bought used caused it but I can’t imagine that happening. I can’t find an expert to help online. It’s now affecting other games. Can anyone point be in the right direction?
More than likely the hard drive is going bad. If you can get a SATA to USB adapter to plug into a laptop or plug the hard drive (HDD) into a desktop and use a program like hard disk sentinel to check for any reported problems with the drive you can confirm whether or not the HDD is at fault.
